Salted Caramel Sauce | Salted Dark Caramel Sauce
Salted Caramel sauce is everyone's favourite sauce which is always hit with any desserts. It can be made very easily at home and for this you don't need much time and many ingredients. It can be made with very less regular ingredients (which are normally available in every home kitchen). So lets go to the recipe.
Preparation Time : 00 minute
Cook Time : 7 minutes
Serves : 8-10 people
Ingredients:
- White Sugar: 125 gram (1/2 cup)
- Water: 1 tablespoon
- Butter: 60 gram
- Heavy Cream: 3 tablespoon
- Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
How to Make:
- Take Sugar in a heavy bottom pan.
- Add Water.
- Stir it at high flame continuously.
- When it change the colour (golden brown) due to caramelisation, turn off the heat. Don't stop the stirring at this moment.
- Add butter and mix.
- Add cream and stir.
- Finally add salt and let it cool to room temperature.
- Serve it with any desserts like cake, Ice cream etc and enjoy.
My Tip:
- If you want extra creamy, more cream can be added.
- Here I made the caramel dark as I like it. But if you want light, add butter and cream and turn off the flame when it just start to change the colour.
- Salt can be added as per taste.
- When you are making this recipe don't leave the pan alone. Always keep eye on pan and stir continuously.
