Honey Lemon Glazed Meatloaf
Meatloaf is itself a very amazing recipe as a starter. Here it is glazed with a lovely honey lemon sauce which gives it an awesome sweet and sour taste. For the Chinese food lover, It will be a must try recipe. You can pack it for tiffin also. It is also very easy to make. It may be a good accompanied with your evening tea. Here I have used chicken, but any red meat goes well for it. Lets go for the recipe.

Ingredients:
For Chicken meatloaf:
- Chicken minced-500 gram
- Chopped Coriander leaves-1/3 cup
- Chopped tomato-1 medium
- Chopped garlic-3 cloves
- Chopped ginger-3/4 tablespoon
- Chopped green chilli-2 numbers
- Chopped onion-1 large
- Soya sauce-1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce-1 tablespoon
- Red wine vinegar-1 tablespoon
- Olive oil-1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Honey -1 teaspoon
- Black pepper crushed-1 teaspoon
- Chilli flakes-1 teaspoon
- Milk-1/2 cup
- Egg-1 piece
- Bread crumb-1 cup
- Grated cheese-1 cup
- Olive oil-1 tablespoon
- Sesame seed-1 tablespoon
- Garlic chopped-3 cloves
- Ginger chopped-3/4 tablespoon
- Chopped spring onion-1/2 cup
- Chopped coriander leaves-2 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce-1 tablespoon
- Soya sauce-1 tablespoon
- Red wine vinegar-1 tablespoon
- Honey-3 tablespoon
- Corn flour-1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice-1/2 of lemon
- Lemon zest- 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper crushed-1 teaspoon
- Chilli flakes-1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves chopped-1 tablespoon
- Chopped spring onion-1 tablespoon
- Lemon slice-1 or 2
How to Make:
- Take a chicken minced in a large mixing bowl.
- Add all ingredients for meatloaf except olive oil.
- Mix everything and make a dough with help of your hand.Rest it for 15 minutes.
- Now take a loaf baking dish lined with parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven a 180°C.
- Set the chicken dough in the tray.
- Drizzle olive oil over it.
- Cover with a aluminium foil sheet.
- Now bake it for 20 minutes at 180°C.
- Then, take it out from oven and remove the foil.
- Again bake it for 15 minutes at 200°C.
- Check it inserting a toothpick and make sure it comes out cleanly.
- Then Cool it in room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the sauce.Take oil in a pan and allow it to heat.
- Add chopped garlic and saute it for few minutes in high flame.
- Add chopped ginger and half of spring onion , saute it for a minute.
- Add sesame seed , saute it for couple of minutes.
- Add soya sauce,oyster sauce,red wine vinegar.
- Season with salt,black pepper crushed, chilli flakes.
- Add honey.Mix everything well.
- Add little hot water.Let bring it to boil.
- Take cornflour in a small bowl and mix with water.Make a slurry.
- Add cornflour mixture.Stir it properly.
- Add little more water.
- Add lemon zest and lemon juice.
- Add leftover spring onion chopped and coriander leaves chopped.
- Mix everything well.Turn off the flame.
- Place a plate on the loaf tin and flip it to take out the meatloaf. This is the easiest way to take out.
- Then cut the meatloaf into slice and place in a serving plate.
- Now drizzle the sauce over it.
- Garnish it with chopped spring onion and coriander leaves and lemon slice.
- Enjoy it as a starter or side dish.
