Raw (Green) Banana Kebab (Tikki) | Green Banana Patties | Raw Banana Cutlet

Lets go to the recipe.
Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Cook Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 6 people
Ingredients:
- Cooking oil- 1 tablespoon + extra for shallow fry
- Onion(chopped)- 1 large
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Boiled Banana(peeled)- 2 whole
- Boiled Potato(peeled)- 1 whole
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 teaspoon
- Chat masala- 1 teaspoon
- Kashmiri red chilli powder- 1 teaspoon
- Black Salt- 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper powder- 1 teaspoon
- Roasted Cumin Powder- 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder- 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves(chopped)- 1/2 cup
- Sattu/Roasted besan- 2 tablespoon
- Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
- Green chilli(chopped)- 1 piece

How to Make:
- Add oil in a pan. Allow it to heat.
- Then add onion and fry until it changes the colour at low heat.
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry until its raw flavour is gone.
- Turn off the flame and keep aside.
- Slice the boiled banana and chop the boiled potato roughly so that it can be smashed easily.
- Smash the banana and potato smoothly using a potato smasher or using your hand. Or you can grate it also.
- Then add all spices followed by green chilli, coriander leaves & sattu.
- Then add fried onion, ginger garlic (which we have made earlier)
- Squeeze the lemon to get fresh lemon juice.
- Mix everything and make a semi soft dough.
- Now take a small portion of dough and make the tikki in round shape using your palm or you can use a cookie cutter to give the desired shape.
- Try to make all sides of tikki even.
- Take little oil in pan for shallow fry and spread into the pan.
- Then place the kebab(tikki) and fry from both side until brown spot comes. If required add very little oil in between of cooking.
- Turn off the flame and take out into a serving plate.
- Enjoy with coriander chutney & tamarind chutney.

My Tip:
- Banana and potato should be boiled properly. I had added little salt when boiled.
- When you smashed the banana and potato, make sure there is no lump.
- If you want, you can deep fry the tikki. I had shallow fry it for consuming low oil due to heath.
