Chicken Burger | Burger with homemade chicken patty




Today's recipe is one of the most popular fast food recipe which is very famous in everywhere. It is not only kid's favourite, all age groups loves it very much. So. nothing much to say about it. Now you can make it with homemade patty with less time at your kitchen. Here I am sharing a easy burger recipe with perfect tasty patty. Always keep it in mind, homemade is the best as it is made with your love & care for your family.
So, Lets go to the recipe.

Preparation Time : 15 minutes

Cook Time       25 minutes

Serves            4 people


Ingredients:

  • Chicken Minced ~ 300 gram
  • Olive Oil ~ 1 tablespoon+1 Tablespoon
  • Butter ~ 1 Cube
  • Breadcrumb for coating
  • Salt to taste
  • For chicken marinate,
    • Chopped Onion ~ 1 Medium
    • Grated Garlic ~ 3 Cloves
    • Coriander Leaves (chopped)  ~ 1/4 cup
    • Lemon Juice ~ 1 tablespoon
    • Bread crumb ~ 1/2 Cup 
    • Egg ~ 1 piece
    • Crushed Black Pepper ~ 1 teaspoon 
    • Chilli Flakes ~ 1 teaspoon
    • Mixed Herbs ~ 1 Teaspoon
    • Soya Sauce ~ 1 tablespoon
    • Salt to taste
  • For Mayo Sauce,
    • Mayonnaise ~ 3 tablespoon
    • Dijon Mustard ~ 1 tablespoon
    • Red Chilli Sauce ~ 1 tablespoon
    • Tomato Ketchup ~ 1 tablespoon
  • For Burger Assembling,

How to Make:

  1. Heat a pan . Add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Add chopped onion. Season with salt.
  3. Add grated garlic and saute for 5 minutes. Keep aside for marination.
  4. Take chicken mince in a mixing bowl. Add all ingredients for marination including sauteed onion and garlic.
  5. Mix well everything. Leave it for rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Take 4 type of sauce in a bowl and give a good mix. Mayo sauce is ready for burger. Keep aside.
  7. Cut the burger buns from middle and keep aside.
  8. Now we will make the burger patty. Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal(approx) parts. 
  9. Now take 1 portion and try to give a round shape by patting from both side.
  10. Then put into the bread crumb.Coat well.keep aside.
  11. Make all left over patty like this.
  12. Now take a pan(grill/normal). Add butter and olive oil. Allow to melt the butter.
  13. Place all the patties on it and allow them to fry from one side for 5 minutes in medium heat.
  14. After that, flip to fry from other side for 5 minutes. Once done, take out from heat.
  15. Then grill the burger buns in the same pan for couple of minutes each. keep aside.
  16. Now assemble the burger, 
    1. Take one half of the bun.
    2. Spread little mayo sauce.
    3. Place a patty on it.
    4. On the hot patty, place a cheese slice. So that cheese becomes soft.
    5. Place tomato slice followed by pickled cucumber on it.
    6. Take a lettuce leave and tear into 2 or 3 pieces and place on it.
    7. Pour some mayo sauce on lettuce.
    8. Close the burger with other side of the bun.
  17. Enjoy it hot with chips, french fries or salads.

My Tip: 

  • Always apply water in your hand before making every patty, it will prevents to stick the dough to your palm. 
  • For Burger, It is very important to take the chicken mince with fat. This fat make the patty juicy not dry. Its an important tip for making perfect burger patty at home.
